recipes or no recipes?

have you ever tried cooking by the book or yoou were always doing it by the recipes old and new?

I almost never follow recipes and even when I do I change them a little and rarely measure anything. I much prefer to play it by ear and see what I can do.

I dont use recipes to much, I love to cook and make up my own recipes, when I find a good one I write it down. Some day I will have my own resteraunt and will need them !

I watch a lot of food network so I get recipes off of there. I will generally look up a recipe in a cookbook or on the net and see what normally goes into a meal that I wish to cook then I alter it to fit our likes & what not. I also have created my own recipes a time or two :) I love to cook!

I usually just throw stuff together. Even when I use a recipe, I usually change something about it or don't measure exactly.
