I suffered from this too. When I was at school, I was really doing good. Same for the first year in college. Then, it was so bad. Too many things were going through my head. I was thinking a lot and I felt like I will explode. Studying was no more my first priority and not even from the top five. I could have an exam the next day, but still I wasn't concentrating enough. No surprise that I did fail. It was really painful and it could have been worse.
I think what you need is to set your priorities. It's good to have other interests in life, but still the most important thing is your studies. Managing time maybe hard, but if we can do it, life will be much easier.

The first thing to do is to figure out what has changed in your life that is causing this.
Are you getting enough sleep?
Has your diet changed too low of energy.
Are you having family or boyfriend problems that are depressing you?
Figure out the cause and we are halfway towards solving your problem.

I really dont know what to tell you. If you are stressed out or anxious you need to find ways to get around it. If you feel it is a health thing you should see your doctor. Only you know how you truly feel. Sorry I cant be more informative.

Take a break - the more you stress about not being able to concentrate the worse it will get. I don't mean for a week or anything. Set aside an hour a day to do something different; go for a walk, go swimming, get a friend and go bowling, something fun and physcial. Also eat well, eggs are great brain food. Pamper yourself for an hour; do your nails, lounge in a hot bath, or try a new hair style all work for me.
