I have sold on eBay before, but only books and Cd's (mostly sent out media class).
I was wondering if anyone out there has any advice on selling clothes?I have cleaned out my son's closet and have several nice pieces to sell, and am looking for any tips or warnings others may be willing to share.
Thanks!!

I have sold loads of clothes on ebay.
They have to be in very good condition for you to make a profit.
Also, taking a good clear photo of them always helps.
Always put in as much information about the item as well.
The waist, length, chest measurements so people can know if it will fit.
Also keep the starting price low. If they are interested they will bid.
A high starting price never seems to sell.
Look at similar items selling at the moment to see if these have bids or not.
Sometimes if you have a bundle of boys or girls clothes all the same size it can be profitable to sell them as a bundle.
Good luck!!

Thanks for the tips :)
I have looked and since my son wears slim jeans I think the ones he didn't destroy should sell well. I know I have trouble finding them for him used, and they seem to sell well on eBay, I have bought some of his there.
Best to you as well!!

I got some tips for you
1. take a good picture of them (well lit, some close ups)
2. start your item at a low price.
3. use an ebay listing hosting site that hosts mulitple pictures up to 32 pictures per listing and page layout for free.
4. offer shipping discount if they buy more than one item.
5. post your auction to end on a sunday or saturday night around 8:00 PM CST because you get more bidds around that time.
I hope this helps you GOOD LUCK!!
