Who's show do you love to watch? Why? Is the chef interesting? Are their recipes simple and easy to do yourself? Or do you just like watching because he/she is gorgeous?

I love Rachael Ray. Her recipes seem to be made of "real ingredients" that I can find at a grocery store rather than a specialty store. I also love how her down to earth personality comes across in her food. My family loves whenever I try her new recipes. My daughter even TiVo's her shows for me.

I like Rachael Ray on TV too. But the cookbooks I have found of hers don't have many pictures in them! I like to see what the recipe is supposed to look like!

I love to watch Barefoot Contessa and not far behind her is Paula... I love the fact they come from different places, cook different kinds of food, but both of them feel warm and down-home.

I assume you mean Paula Deen of Paula's home cooking? I like her show, and love southern food! Thanks for the post!

I don't have any specific cook, whom i watch always, basically I am vegetarian, and a reasonably good cook, too. So I watch these programs it it strikes my way, as I am switching channels. Otherwise, I don't have any specific chef

Thanks for your comment. Hmm, I don't know if there are any strictly vegetarian cooking shows on TV.

There are a lot of chefs that I enjoy watching: 1. Barefoot Contessa - well I have to admit that her recipes are almost always fattening and that the ingredients she uses are very rich. But i love to watch her cook and organize mini dinners, brunches etc. Plus her house and kitchen is vey nice. 2. Emeril - He is a chef. I think his dishes are pretty simple but the problem is the ingredients. He uses some hard to find stuffs which I think makes the meal he cooks much more special. 3.Giada (of Everyday Italian) - I like her simple pasta and salad recipes. 4. Iron Chefs (Iron Chef America show) - you can learn a lot of different ways to cook a single piece of meat, fish, chicken etc.

I like Rachael Ray. I don't like cooking too much, but her stuff is doable. After watching her show a few times even I can make something without a recipe. (As long as it is pasta!)

I like watching Take Home Chef's Curtis Stone. He's fun and talented and not too hard on the eyes. I like watching Tyler Florence (Food 911) because he's cute and enthusiastic.

I've never watched Take Home Chef. As you may have guessed, I watch Everyday Italian as much to look at Giada as to look at her food ;D
