I am fed up with the click here, sign up for this, refer your friends, waste your time and energy BULL$HIT. I want a job that is done from my home and does not require me to bother anyone with stupid referrals. I want a job that I actually have to work at and not just sit and click, and fill out forms in hopes of earning a few extra dollars. Only to have my email bombarded with more crap. I am sick to death of it! Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I am just wasting my time?I have been to WAHM, Monster, Careerbuiler,Genuinejobs, Yahoo, and Jobersize...just to name a few. I am all out of ideas and need some help.
If one person posts a referal link in this discussion I will scream!!! :@

If you have a hobby such as crocheting or knitting or making other things you can sell those things on e-bay. It costs just pennies to make crocheted baby bonnets and the home made ones are in demand. The chacha search engine is still hiring people and that pays a few dollars an hour which is better than nothing. There are people with invites at the WAHM site.
I hope you find something.

For people that are crafty or good at art, there is a site called Etsy.com that features hundreds of artists and crafters. You pay a small fee to set up your shop and people come to the site to buy things. The competition is there because the people on the site are talented. Anyone can do it, however. My sister is a photographer and jewelry designer and has a shop online there, and yes, she has sold some of her work.

Indium, you have to do something very original in order to make money with a craft like crochet, but almost any craft can sell well. You have to know the market.

Well um...I think you're wanting the money without the real work actually. There really aren't a whole lot of ways to make a real living off of working at home online. They are mostly just a bunch of gimmicks. Unless you want to start your own business, I think you are out of luck.

No referal link here but I will send you a link to a site that has some work at home jobs that you can do. I do have a referal link for ChaCha if you want but I can send it to you this way. I would have to get your email address so I could send that to you

www.makeanonlinewebbusiness.com HAHAHA...no I'm joking, I just made that up. I think the only way you can get a real online job is to make a business of your own. Come up with a plan to sell some type of item or service over the internet. Otherwise, I think you're just wasting your time, sorry to say.

Okay take a valium and have a cup of tea!!! Depending on what you know how to do there are tons of things to do on the internet. Four years ago i decided to have another child and give up my journalist career. It was a decision I made to be home with my kids and work from home. It has taken awhile but I have a fairly good reputation now as a online writer and researcher. If you can type, write, research or whatever there are jobs. Here are two sites that are free to sign up for and offer tons of projects. This won't make you rich but you can make a living at it.
getafreelancer.com
scriptlance.com
These two sites are great for finding work and its where i get most of mine from.

Well, I came to conclusion that such a job doesn't exist at all. Because I was like you once and trying to find a work at home that is like that. So far I haven't succeeded either.

Welcome to the club! But no aneurism please. lol
My daughter resigned from her job to be able to spend time with her son. She found a good work on line as a medical transcriptionist and she's enjoying every minute of it. I'm sure there is something out there that will suit your needs. It's the process of finding the right one that is inviting aneurism. I hope you find one that you'll be happy with.

I agree with you there!
I am sifting and digging through all the links that people gave me, trying to find a diamond in the rough!
Let me know if any work out for you and visa versa.
Cheers!

Thank you for summing things up so well. I wish I could work outside of the home. I was diagnosed with a Chronic illness in 2004 and had to give up my job. I am still able to do some work and I am looking for a decent work at home job. Thanks again.

If you've got the skills and some basic computer equipment, you could probably find work as a Virtual Assistant... http://www.virtualassistantbusiness.com
(This is not an affiliate link) VAB can provide you with tips and information on starting your own professional VA business and working out of your home. The site also provides links to jobs for VA's.
Best of luck to you! Calm down, once you see that a whole lot of people besides yourself have had to dig through tons of muck to get to the gems, you will realize that this is kind of an "on-the-job-training" that will allow to more quickly dismiss the "dirt" and make wiser choices.
Joy, Abundance and Peace to you and yours! :)

I've been doing some bookkeeping. A lot of people aren't very organized with their finances because they don't know what to do. You can get work by doing data entry for people, and entering all of their receipts, bills, and income onto the computer.
I have had mild success writing articles for different websites, and writing worksheets for some teaching websites. You could try that.
If you look on craigslist, sometimes people want piecework done - crafts made, stuff filed, that sort of thing.

My husband and I started a home-based business last fall, we really enjoy it. It's not a get-rich-quick kinda deal, it's actual work. And you can get paid quite well - if you put the work into it. We absolutely love it! Our goal is for my husband to quit his job and do this full time by December. PM me if you'd like more information, and don't worry, you wont get a box full of junk e-mails from me :)

I know how you feel. I wish I could find something that I could do here at home so I wouldn't have to keep working nights while I go to school... but until then...
