Minot

Hello. I was born in Minot, and raised on a farm near there all my life. A few years after being married, my husband & I moved to NJ to "experience more life".... for opportunities, and to be near his family for a while. We liked it, were exposed to opportunities and learning experiences you can only get in a busy, overpopulated area, and enjoyed living near his family. BUT......have now moved back to the Minot area (just this last July). We have an 11 year old daughter, and the small town schools are priceless for kids! We also are enjoying exposing our daughter to the warmth of a small community, the opportunity to participate in school sports, and the small town church that we belong to (and I grew up in). The people in North Dakota are hard working, loyal, friendly people. I wouldn't expect you to have any different oppinion. We have some friends who were stationed here with the Air Force, before we left for NJ. They spent some time overseas, and in another state-side base, and are now back at Minot also.....not because they HAD to...because they requested Minot.

I don't think that I live in that city to know how any university is like there. Good luck with your move.

im from dunsieth nd and i have relatives in minot/i think grandforks is a better choice for school/the air force base ,mall,riverparks its in a valley hope you like to ride horse
