Well my opinion and I don't know this for sure but in browsing around, people rating your responses might also count against you, so say you give a response and the writer didn't like it or someone else viewed it and gave you a negative rating might affect your pay. I know that your not suppose to give a negative rating just because someone disagrees with your opinion but you never know. That's just my opinion. I haven't been on long enough to have experienced the difference in pay from one day to the next, but will definetly keep an eye on it in the future.

honestly, when I signed up to mylot i was really excited about it but after doing it for one day. i realized this not something easy to do and you have my sympathy on this issue.

Like you I am also confused about the way we earn in Mylot. Sometimes when I had not even posted I get money and sometimes when I had posted I dont get a lot. Infact I find the reward system of Jaahive more appropriate than Mylot. There your amount revised after your each contribution. I feel the same should be the system of Mylot.

patrice, how know exactly how you feel, i have gone this aswell. but dear, you will soon get used to this earnings system which gets upgraded a day after you actually post. which means, if you posts on thursday will be reflected in saturday's earnings and NOT in friday's. so chill down and get going. myLot never let us down and i have found that it follows a very fair rating system. for 45-50 posts ( i know the stuff you put in) you will get around $2-4 USD. however, sometimes what we feel is very good, actually might not be for with all good stuff, it could digress from the original topic and then we lose out on earnings. make sure to rate responses and mark them BEST and take care of grammar, syntax and punctuations. i think that would be all for today. good luck

I have noticed this also I don't feel like writing much and I get more than when I write longer statements but this site is not designed to make a living if we where on myspace we would just do it for enjoyment but fair is fair and we all would like to understand the game so we can play.

it's hard to say why that happened. I have ben keeping track of the number of posts I make each day. I think it's better to stay way from controversal discussions. I not so worried about a few pennies here and there but it sems to be a concern for you. Some people do give negative ratings if you disagree with them.

hummm.. patrice even i had and i am experiencing the same now but as mimpi told my earnings had and has increased after a couple of days after you have done with your replies !!! the only thing i dont get is when uploading images i have crossed 500 plus but even now im just increased by .1c per image but many people say that they get more than .4c per image !!! if any one here experiencing the same here??? please do comment here...!!!

hey patrice, i know how you feel. i used to average 1 dollar a day these past days. but today my earnings was only .83 cents for the 15posts i made, and my earnings for the photos did not show. I should have earned at least 10 cents of the photos, but i had 0 cent. The 83 cents for 15 posts is not really bad, but i think mylot is giving us less pay due to the rising number of mylot users. i suspect someone gave you a negative rating which had a drastic impact on your earnings. but then anyway, just forget about this and just continue posting quality discussions. what you are experiencing now, happens to a lot of mylot users.

Well you are not alone in trying to make the best of your time here and earn something. I haven't figured out just how it all works either and feel the same at times. But I have to say its mostly fun and none of us are going to get rich here. I try to think of it more as a learning experience and to get as much feedback and information with other users here. If I make a little earns then that just makes it better.

wait one more day. because mylot updates the account for the previous day. i mean today when mylot is updated it counts your activities for yesterday.

I have been trained on not to expect to much on so many things. Especially, when it comes to money. When I go to the FAQ they said that I can be paid through e-gold account since paypal is not yet operating in our place. I understand how you feel but I would just like to recommend that you may go with mylot.com according to your pace and perhaps you may grab some of the opportunities to earn dollars you can find in their web. Well,again, just do not expect to much from mylot.I do appreciate your concern.Take care.

I think it's down to whether people actually rate your posts. You see the little + - ! thing next to my post?? Well I think if I get a plus I get more for my post because its a good one, and a minus would mean I get less. If you don't rate it at all, then I think you don't get much at all. And the ! is for reporting abusive posts. I don't know for sure, but this and getting the "best response" is all going to affect your earnings. You could also try adding pictures to your discussions to help support your own discussions and you will get something for that too I believe. If I am wrong, then so sorry, but it I agree that it's unclear about what earns you what.

The earnings can vary according to whehter people rate your responses or not. Some people who start discussions will rate every response they get; others won't. Also, anyone can rate your responses, not just the person starting the discussion. So it's hard to say you'll make x amount of cents for y number of answers. To make more money, start discussions==you earn more if more people respond. And try to get referrals; if you refer people you get a cut of their earnings each time they comment.

I have to admit that i absolutely love Mylot, but I also feel really badly for you and I don't understand what's been happening with my earnings lately, either, or why my star rating isn't going back up even though I never post anything really short, like one sentence long. I have also noticed my earnings dropped in this past week, and I feel for you, although I still love Mylot because it is the best place I have ever found for having fun and earning money at the same time.. I will definitely be sticking around, but it can feel disheartening (for sure) when you feel you have worked so hard and gained less money than the day before. I've been there, too. I know how it feels.

myLot might be sometimes unpredictable. I always keep my answers 3 to 4 lines. Somedays I have got paid 3 or 4 cents each answer. The answers needto be very useful, this is how you keep earning star ranks. You need to go right to the point and support your ideas. I have found that just tellig a story doesn't help out a lot. We need to support our ideas.

wow yes i think its a bit unfair they don't show you the payment system..like how much for each discussion,but its hard i guess if they are paying you for the quality and maybe what subjects you are disscusing. i must have repyled to lots of messages yesterday and i only got 40cent....i was like...what ! how could this happen i spent most of my day on there just seeing what people were talking about and testing out stuff. this is my second day on here and i am hoping i will make a bit more money on here then yesterday..but to be honest if i don't make up to $10 at the end of the month i will be pissed...becos i have put time into my profile and talking to people responding and becos there payments are all over the place ,i don't get payed... thats just wrong. they are competing my myspace and if they think people are going to put up with putting you time into making new friends and discussions while neglecting your myspace friends then they have another thing coming. i think they should be straight with everyone and if there paying us...then how much. other wise poeple after the first month or so arfter putting hours in and only getting 20 bucks back they will drop this sign and go back to myspace. thanks what i think anyway.
