Grease vs American Idol????

American Idol, but only the try outs. After that I lose interests. The last time I watched the whole show, that squeeky voice girl won, phantasia I think was her name, ticked me off. Her voice is just like nails going down a chalk board, yet she won!?

I really enjoyed Grease, the individual singers as well as the group ensembles. It seemed a little more 'higher class' entertainment than American Idol.

i think i like grease more. i cant stop watching that video and when american idol starts, i dont mind doing something else. if grease wasnt a movie and a once in a while for in a lifetime, than i wouldnt wanna do nothing but watch the show.

hey i would love to watch american idol.there the participants are awesomebut one thing is i dont like the judges.but i vote for american idol

Grease, Grease, Grease, I cant stand American Idol, well I cant really say I cant stand it, I just don't like it, Grease just entertains me a lil better. I love the old Grease songs with Johnny Travolta!

Grease is the best for me!!!

I like American Idol so much more. A lot of the contestants on that Grease show are already established theater actors. They just act like they're not to entice viewers. It's a lot more interesting to see a genuine unknown get a chance to have a career as opposed to someone who's been working in legitimate regional and national touring productions. Plus I just like the songs they pick on AI better than Grease. Disappointing too because I LOVE Grease. It's like my favorite musical.

I am having a blast watching both of them. If they were both on at the same time and I couldn't record one then I would flip between the two, but if I had to I would stay on Grease. That is because Idol is still in auditions. If Idol was down to the top 12 then I would stick with it. I am glad that I really don't have to choose because I find both of them very enjoyable.

It's apples and oranges for me. I love both shows in different ways. The contestants on Grease don't sing as well as the AI contestants, but they are more versatile. They can sing, dance, act, and they tend to be more physically fit because their work requires it. Being on Broadway really requires you to multi-task and to utilize many sets of skills. American Idol contestants are vocally superior (compare Allie singing Natural Woman to Kelly Clarkson's version on season 1--no contest!) but not as fun to watch as the Grease people.

Grease a sweet movie and i loved watching it thrice, a beautiful moving musiq.
