Checklist for the hospital

Hello friends, I am staying in India and expecting my first baby somewhere near March end and I would like to know the items required in hospital for the mother and baby. Can anybody give me a complete list of the items required at that time?

ya first ofall congrats i am also from india and there is nothing important to bring items just we one milk bottle i think so .......

I don't think there are any items that are really required. It's what you will be comfortable having with you. I had a portable DVD player (I had a c-section and wanted to watch movies when I had some down time), magazines, a going home outfit for you and for baby, some pajamas for you (you can wear the hospital gown the whole time if you want), toiletries so you can take a shower, wash you hair, hair dryer, makeup (if you wear makeup). I think that's about it. The baby will be given all the items they need at the hospital.
