I asked God to take away my habit
God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.
I asked god to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary
I asked god to grant me patience.
God said, No.
Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.
I asked god to give me happiness.
God said, No.
I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.
I asked god to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.
I asked god to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
You must grow on your own!,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked god for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.
I ask god to help me love others, as much as He loves me.
God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.
THIS DAY IS YOURS DON'T THROW IT AWAY

Very good. Nice reminders. Many people keep on blaming for hardships. They always like to be babies, always spoon-fed. God is like the eagle which pushes down its young to teach it how to fly but if the young could not as yet fly, the eagle dives down to the rescue of its beloved young.
God is just teaching us but like the Israelites, we are too hard-necked, we are stubborn, we do not follow or obey God, and then if problems arise, God is always to be blamed. Adam in effect blamed God for giving him the woman, and the woman blamed the serpent. We do not like to exert little efforts to obey God and thus, we are confronted with so many problems.

Beautiful. People are quick to blame God when things in their lives are not what they think they should be when they should be looking in the mirror instead. Free will... what a concept. Life is what we make of it. Be active and pro active. Life is like everything else.. you only get out of it what you put into it.
