We have Durians here in the philippines, On the province of Davao. I fruit it a nasty smell but with a good taste. It also can be made of candies and as fruitshakes. Most people here who encountered and tasted it says, 'It is a fruit that smells like HELL, but definitely tastes like HEAVEN!;)

It is also called Durian here.. Yes, the smell and taste are always like heaven, but it is just an expression. A figure of speech, as I might say.

Yes i do. In fact since i'm married to my husband, it has become one of my favourites. Before this, i only take durian at the most 1 or 2 slice (i know that's not the term you call it, but i just don't know the right term for now). However, now i can consume more than that. Sometimes when i crave for durian for too long, i can eat up to 3 durians on my own! My husband is so glad that he now has a partner when eating durian. because before this i just tend to watch him after taking a few on my own.

What do you call durian at your country? Some people don't like the aroma, but the taste is the best, thats why it was called by "the king of fruit" at SEA country.

But, I have to remind for those readers who never take any experience on this king of fruit. You may dislike the aroma of this fruit and You may feel hot after taking it. But do not worry to enjoy this fruit, It is not happened on everybody. It depends on self of yours.

Durian... the heavenly fruit of all... yeah I like durian and I have my own durian trees at the back of my house. Whenever it is the durian season, I would just go to my backyard and pick the durians from under the trees. Lol... it is very fun indeed! However for this season all my durians are not in good terms with me... LOL... they rather give the squirells to eat them than me! lol... That's why I snapped the picture of my durian and put it in my avatar. Ha ha ha... hoping the next season I will be able to eat it and not fighting with the squirrels. Bye for now.
