myLOT referrals earnings

One of my friends asked me this question & I became confused that she is somewhat right. Here's what she asked...
Do you think its fair to get 25% of the total earnings of our referrals? I mean isn't it somewhat unfair with those people. I know we have referred them (told them) to mylot so we get paid. But still earning 25% of their hard work earnings because we referred them to this site, isn't it too much?
What do you think about this?

I think it should be a one off payment rather than a %, otherwise people could be earning loads from their referrals and not contributing to the site at all which I think is unfair.

No, I think you have misunderstood. It's not that you are taking 25% of what they earn. But myLot pays you 25% of what they earn. That is, even if you refer them or not, they would be earning the same, but myLot would be saved from paying an extra amount for you.

I think your friend is right. Instead of 25% of the earnings of referrals, it should be something fixed amount for each referral we bring.
