The star represents not just the quantity but the quality and length of your posts. And sometimes your responds are under repeated discussions by cheater so when moderator delete this topic your response will be deleted to. This are what I only think that could be the reason why your star has fallen. Try to avoid some repeated discussion and give your response more sentence to read on.

I had the same problem today. My star went from a 9 to a 4.. so yours went down WAY less than mine, but still, we're in the same boat. Your star rating comes from people giving you a + or - for your dicsuccion posts.. if they don't like it , you get a - and that brings your star rate down. Hope this helps.

I feel sad for you. This is the first time that I heard a user complain about his star rating. I heard that the star beside our name means the quality of discussions we post or the quality of replies in our responses. Maybe you had a discussion, a very good one, but some users also had that same discussion. So the moderators had to delete it. Or maybe your replies or discussions were rated negative or abusive by some mylot members.
