I would have to say jason kapono for the miami heat. hes the leagues number one 3 point shooter. he may not score as much as ray allen, bu thte 4 year veteran is a monster from behind the arch.

the purest shooter in the NBA? Andrea Bargnani of Toronto Raptors. But others great shooters are: Ray Allen, Jason Kapono, Dirk Nowitzki, Pat Garrity, ecc..

You gotta be kidding. Your going with Ray Allen when there's Gilbert Arenas lighting up the court? That guy shoots pure as rain. (ok that analogy doesn't exactly work..., but you get the point) I'm a twolves fan so it's not like he's my favorite player or anything.

im not talking about who can score more. your saying gilbert is better cuz hes putting up better point totals. im saying ray allen cuz he has the purest shot. he has the best form and has range for days!

I think that gilbert arenas for the Washington Wizards is the purest and most consistent shooter in the NBA

i would say kyle korver of the philadelphia 76ers... very deadly on the 3 point arch, shoots almost 100% when left unguarded

Right now, it's definitely Allen. I mean, have you seen better form in the NBA today? Of course, I'll bring you back... remember Wesley Person. The guy had the smoothest form and the sweetest stroke. I mean, his shot was magic to watch. He wasn't a pure scorer so he wasn't very popular, but he had the best form... I remember watching video of him and Shawn Respert from Michigan State in the mid-90's when I was working on my jumper... Kapono looks good, like someone else mentioned... his shot form was always good, even when he was in college at UCLA.

peja stojakovic. for me he's still deadly as he was when he was still with the sacramento kings. if not for the injuries that hit him this season, peja and the hornets could've gone further. peja is a real threat to any team. he can shoot at any angle and distance on the floor. he's a cut above the rest. other names that come to mind are ray allen, michael redd, jason kapono and mike miller

Ray Allen is my pick. He has a graceful shooting form. And he's got great range. Seattle should not let ray create shots off the dribble... instead send him some picks to set him open. I think Ray is more effecient as a shooter than a scorer.
