I drink pepsi but I do it in moderation. There are plenty of things which are bad for health, but we can't go around banning them. If you feel they are that harmful for your family, you have the right not to purchase them, but I don't feel it is a good idea to ban them. There are a lto of things which I'm sure you use that I would feel harmful to my family.

Don't ban my soft drinks. I am an addict and I would hate to end up on the streets trying to score a pepsi from the guy on the corner. I have to have my pepsi.

I agree oddball. I need my caffeine. I'd be completely lost if I didn't have it.
Plus, I don't think people should be trying to tell them to stop drinking it. They drink it by choice, and as long as they aren't over consuming, I see nothign wrong with it.

i never drink any fizzy drinks, i think they have too much sugar and have a bad affect on health and mood. i dont think they should go as far as being banned but i think people should limit how much they drink, but at the end of the day its their lives and their choices

yes i feel the same... i thnk such aerated drinks as shown by a few researchers are used to clean toilets... which imply their intensity with which they can harm our body.. i feel even science doesn't quite recommend them but still i do not understand the urge of ppl to have such drinks.. not only that but ppl also start this habit in their kids at such a small age that those kids also get into a bad company right since a very small age and then grow up to get addicted to these drinks.. i feel as these companies are really big no body can ban them as such. but yes. the content of these drinks should be made as such that it does not harm the human body even a bit (as caffeine content does)....

Well, that is just great for you. No matter how bad it is for health, people are already hooked to it and it will take forever for people to forget about them.

It's nice to get healthy but sometimes drinks like this helps ease the thirst of the many busy people out there. People have different taste and preferences and we must respect it.

I don't think so. Soda is not as bad as a lot of other things that are marketed and soda isn't bad unless you really drink a lot of it. Soda is one of those things that should only be consumed in small amounts. I don't see why you should remove something from that market that people choose to consume..at their own risk.
