what is more important appearence or personality in a relationship?

i guess in a realationship both is not so important, it your compatibility that counts most. But in your second question, i guess i would go for personality.

i'll choose personality. your relationship will not work if one of you does have a bad attitude. good appearance is just for the outside..what matters most is the inside of the person..the person that you are going do deal with everytime.. what's the use of having a partner with a good appearance having bad attitudes...

i also pick personality. my husband has a great one. hes always so happy and upbeat.

i would say a mixture of both attracts me the most .there is no point in having a goodlooking girlfriend if she doesnt know to love.similarly if your dont have your goodlooks no one will approach you.so i go for a mixture of both the traits in friends.but if you ask me to pinpoint to one feature i would choice personality.

if im into a relationship already, looks wouldn't matter to me. looks would be a plus factor but i'd still go for personality.

well i have attracted to many girls who are beautiful but as of relationship is concerned i had a relationship which made me forget her face, i was very much involved, i mean i cannot explain it

Presonality and Appearences both matter. If your mate is more attractive or not so good looking, sooner or latre it will begin to effect the relationship as begin to compare him or her with others. And secondly the most important thing in a relationship is personality. after a few days or months when the initial charm wears of you will relise understanding and knowing each other is more important than having good looks.

I think appearance is important at first because you need to be attracted to the person to even start dating them. Later on though, I think it becomes less important and personality is the most important thing. If you can't live with someone's personality, you won't be compatable and your relationship will eventually end.

Apperannce is always going to be the first thing that attracts you to someone. If you are not attracted to them physically you will probably never find out what their personality is like. The personality will be the thing that makes a relationship last though. Looks may fade, but the personality will always be there.

I tend to look past appearances and focus on personality. Someone with a great personality looks better and better after you get to know them. Appearances are deceiving.

you can't base how you feel about someone on how they look. for me, if the guy has a great personality, that raises his attraction lvl a whole bunch. if you date someone based on their looks, it would never last.

i think that the personality is most important, BUT you most likley wouldnt ever get to know a persons personality if you werent in some way attractied to there appearence. so yes appearence is very important. i think that the personalty makes the relationship appearence helps it
