No one knows for sure how we get paid , and if rating helps or not . But out of respect for your fellow members on MyLot I believe it is a good habit to get into by rating their discussions on the off chance that it does help .
Just keep answering posts and putting up your own if you feel like it and just watch how your money goes up . Have fun with it and try not to worry about how you are getting paid as I don't think we will ever figure this out . Everyone has a different explainantion that works for them and how they think they are getting paid but no one knows for sure .

yes..its enhance our earning...you see,you make money by rating post n discussion,by marking best response,by making comment in your discussion,by making comments in other user discussion,you make money by uploading photo in your discussion.so when you star new discussion do upload photo..you will get tab "add image" left-down-side when you make new discussion.make at least few comment when user post in your discussion.

well,I guess people do rate + whenever they make post in discussion.we get paid for rating and star rating depends on rating.the more + rate you get the more high star rating you get.

I like to rate people +. BUt its seldom ppl rate me. lol
So... my rate is stuck at 8

Looks like you are still trying to know how to earn more with Mylot... If you want to earn more do not try to find out how Mylot works.. It is a best kept secret for Mylot. If you forget about how much you will earn and treat the site as a regular discussion iste you will earn more and more.

I can't measure it exactly but this is true that it does matter that if someone rates our reply or discussion. Maybe few more then a normal post and maybe that much more that you can't even count. So it matters but it doesn't effect much but it does.

It just adds up to your reputation. Thats why you've got a rating of 8.If domeone rates you plus you ratings increase.You dont get cash for it.

we dont getcash out of it?? Ohh !! but since last 2 days i have earning the most, till i have asked all my friends to rate my response and discussions with + . May be its my illusion , it might be my own earning from my quality and quantity posts...happy earning..

Everyone here doesnt know the exact amount they pay..when someone rates your responses with a + that would definitely gain you earnings or ratings so that mylot will know u post quality responses here.dont worry about earnings,enjoy mylot then you will enjoy your earnings too..happy posting

Hmm !! but mylot can only be enjoyed if you are enjoying your earning...and untill and unless you are paid with a good some of momey you will feel as if you arewasting your time in here...though i have not been paid so much here , but still i am enjoying the discussions..and i am very much happy the way people responds my discussions...happy earning...

i think it enhances your star rating rather than earnings, other than that i heven't seen my star rating make a significant difference!
