In my kitchen, I have a sign "there is a special place in heaven for the mother of a hockey player"
I was thinking I would like to change it now to "There is a special place in heaven for the mother of a sailor".
How would you finish this:
There is a special place in heaven for .....

No, my son was the anti-honor student. He hated school. His genius is the ability to talk and charm the pants off of anyone.
My fear is that he will be a politician.

There is a special place in heaven for...all of us.
That is understood that if only we pick it and claim it.
Love hockey, family member a player?
We Mother's know about our place in heaven!
Now I wonder if you have a family member that is a sailor?

I definitely am proud of him. He has grown up (thanks to the Navy) and turned into a wonderful young man

Yup, after 16 years of hockey, he went in the Navy. On Sunday is his 21st birthday. Yet another birthday I will miss. But he comes home on leave on Tuesday. Can't wait.

Are you taking care of Mom and Dad? You must have the patience of a Saint.
My ex's-mom had alzheimers. What an awful disease. Even though we separated, I wanted my son to know his Grandparents. So one time, I took my son to see Grandma, she was in a home, she was pretty much unresponsive. But she would play catch, my son who was 7 spent a while playing catch with her. She did not say a word, then just as we were leaving. She smiled and said 'Look at the hair on that little sh*t!' My son had a regular hair cut in the front, but he had a tail in the back, almost down to his waist. We all laughed. Then she went back to never-never land. This was the only memory my son has of her. I am glad it was a smiling one. He got a brief glimpse of what she was like before.

OMG.. I LOVE that sign! LOL As you can tell... hockey family here and I cannot count the number of 5am ice times I've been up, dressed and somewhat concious to take the kids to practices and games! Or the number of hours on the road in blizzards, ice storms and every other weather style you can think of to go on road trip games! Or how many disgusting hotels we've lived through, all in the name of hockey! LOL
I think perhaps I would love a sign that read:
There is a special place in heaven for pet lovers.
I think anyone that can love animals so much to put up with their pee, poop, barking, vet bills, etc. and still keep them has to have a reserved spot! lol

I think everyone can smile at a baby's laugh. A few months ago we went to the mall. There was a little one who had a totally amazing laugh, that seem to echo through the mall. It was magical.
I had to stop and listen.
Bee, you must be a true romantic! Am I right?
