My Horse and Me!!!

I have posted poetry in my last few posts and i have been asked by alot of you too see more of my work! So here is a poem that i wrote that is called My Horse and Me!! Remember i want honest feedback whether it be positive ir negative!
My Horse and Me!
They run like the wind, through the fields of gold,
Her shiny mane, flying so bold,
The rush of the ride, the feeling of glee,
On top of the world is where we be,
Her hooves send an echo from the grass below,
The thunder beneath , can you hear its roar,
I look up to see, the end of the line,
Where this will end and our glory shall be,
I can see it, we're there and once again,
She's won for me, she glows, she's proud,
As she should be, victoriously triumphant,
Is what she teaches me to be.

It is good poem like always. I like the way you paint a beautiful picture by simple but effective use of words. i feel you take to poetry just like duck takes to water. Hope to readmore of your brillinat work and get inspired. Thansk for sharing your poetry with fellow mylotians. good luck.

I am glad that you enjoyed it and your response has put a smile on my face for sure! I guess you could compare me to poetry in such a way as i only took interest in it about 4 to 5 months ago and it just flows. How i start every piece that i write i always just give it a title and the title seems to make the poem for me!

This a good poem. I haven't read the others, but this one made me feel the wind, and the thrill of riding such a wonderful creature. I know horses love to run, and are so gorgeous, it's almost heartbreaking to see them. Sometimes, something so beautiful, can make you cry!

Wow,i really love your peom.I used to write peoms too when i was still in school and publish them in the school paper.But now im out of ideas and im always tired.But your peom is really beautiful.Keep it up.Are you a member of gather.com?

The poetry is nice..you just have to put more life to it I guess...but you are already there...just make it more felt at heart and with more life....You know what i mean? Keep it up!

You are very good! I used to write poetry a couple of years ago but haven't done it in awhile. Your poem inspires me to start again. I was thinking of starting another blog with my poems and short stories but I already have 3 blogs and really don't want to start another one right now. I don't want to get too overwhelmed with having to keep up too many of them but I am thinking of doing it anyway. I would love to read some more of yours! :)

I am glad that my writing is an inspiration!! I know the feeling when i read a good poem i know i fall off into a different world and all of my dreams and imagination just seem to take over! I will be posting more in the future for sure and if you do start that blog let me know how to get to it!

Wow that's pretty nice. Do you write a lot like that???
What is the name of your horse then? And whereabouts do you normally go for a trot? My sister used to have a horse called Josephine, but never was so involved in its life because my cousin had a farm and used to look after her. She threw me a few times, and i wasn't so endeared either after that haha..

may i say it love about ur horse.or it is a poetry for ur horse what exactly it is tell me about that so i that i might clear my confusion

LOL...I love horses and have ridden them in the past but i do not own a Horse it is a poem and i do not believe that poetry has to reflect on just what has happened or is happening in your life. I wish that i did own a horse though as i Love everything about them! I hope that this helped in clearing things up with you!!!

Horse riding is restricted in India. You are good guy so that only you have got a good oportunity to go ride on a horse
