Body Piercings: Do You Think They're Cool?

Okay, i'm a guy, i've got two piercings in one ear. I know that's the exception to the rule, but those are mine. However, when i first met my wife, she had her tongue pierced, and at different times, both eyebrows pierced. She's since removed them because she felt that she "grew out" of that phase, but it's something she's glad she experienced. Plus it's funny now when people meet her and they're like, oh, once upon a time YOU were punk? it's always a good conversation topic for us. I say anyone who wants them, it's your own body. Just beware of people with magnets.

i always wanted my belly button peirced, i never got it done tho because i don't like having needles but now i still think i want one but i don't..lol, im still confused on what i want to do because i think they look nice, and i do have my ears peirced already but i got them done when i was 2 years old!

uh oh, I was about to say I have my ears pierced, but I read the last line and it is an exception in this topic! Even then I would write about it. I didn't had my ears peirced, my parents decided it for me. See, in our culture, childrens must wear this loopy gold earings. I don't know why but I wore them until I was about 5 o t 6. It is wierd. I don't like body piercing on my body, but it is alright if the other person has it. I have not objection to that. It is his/her body.

I think body piercings look great as long as there not over done. I'd only ever have 1 facial 1. I've had 2 in each ear, my belly button and my nose over the past 3 years. I don't regret any of them & love them all. If i decide I don't when im older i'll just let them heal up.

body piercings are not cool.If you choose to have a body part pierced, you run the risk of the following: chronic infection, prolonged bleeding, scarring, tetanus, skin allergies to the jewelry that's used, hepatis or even HIV. These can cause serious pain.. so don't even think of getting one..

hey, have got piercings in my nose and tongue and used to also have them in my lip, don't regret them for one minute, they define who I am and help me stand out from the crowd :)

I thought about getting my bellybutton piered but as i got older i began to see what a bad idea that would be. I'm sure i would regret it now and i've seen so many people get infections after getting thier bellybutton done. It didn't seem worth the risk. Plus i can hardly find enough jewellery that i like to wear in my ears never mind having to find more.

For myself, body piercings are not for me. As for piercings being cool on someone else, I do not find them 'cool' on others, it is just something that is there. I do find too many piercings (7-8 on a face for instance) can almost look freakish, whereas one simple piercing can make a much bigger statement. (in my opinion

I don't like body piercings. Well, I don't think it is healthy to pierce our body and create holes. ewww... Well, undoubtedly, it looks cool sometimes, but it is not something which I would do.

Well, My first experience with piercings was not so nice I pierced my tongue...I got very glad and showed it to everyone... But my tongue dilated and it ached a lot... I only could eat cold soup.. I couldn't stand that not even for a day..I pulled my piercing out... Sometimes I still fell like pierce my tongue again but now I'm afraid of it.. I think I will get a tattoo soon. It's is very cool.
