close friend???? or best friend????

what exactly is the difference between a close friend & a best friend???anyone there who knows the exact difference then help me out

I think close friends are pretty much together and having fun but best friends can tell all their secrets to each other knowing that they'll be safe :D

I think anybody close to me can be called a "close friend." We could be close for certain reasons, like sharing the same interests and always hanging out together. A 'best friend' is more than that. My "best" friend is my closEST friend of all because more than the fun and hanging out, I tell him/her my deepest secrets, and we cry and laugh together -- a friend till the end!

i think among your close friends the one whom u like the most is ur best friend....... close friends can be many but there can be only 1 or 2 best friends..........
