Increase of my star rating

I wasn't there on Mylot for 2 days and 3 days ago and last time I was there I didnt post a lot. I knew that some people lost some rating after beeing not there. The opposite happen to me. My star rating has increased while I was not there. How could this happen?
Did anyone experience that?

Well, I used to be 10 for the longest time but then I'm. down to 9 right now. I remember I gave a lot of people positive ratings yesterday since when I posted a discussion about my personal problem and I believe that people really took time to tell me their opinions and to show my appreciation I just can't help but give a star to almost everyone. I kept saying thank you as well so maybe it has affected my star ratings in one way or another.

I don't think that I've increased because of the discussion I'Ve started because usely I don,t received a lot of answer lol

I think that being absent for two days from mylot doesn't affects that much.Even though you missed mylot for two days but your activities/responses/comments did not miss mylot.They kept earning rating or point for your reputation.

Looks like some of the people you responded to before you left found time to do some ratings on their dicussions. Your star rating is based on what the other My Lot people rate each discussion. If you receive - your number will go down, if you receive + then it rises. I don't think the rating helps much in getting paid though. I think we are all getting the same pay for each post.

Well ... obviously that hasn't happened to me ... not yet anyway... However since your star number is from how others are rating you , not from myLot , it would make sense that it could change even though you didn't post. That just means people were still reading and rating what you had posted.
Congrats on getting up to a 10!

Right now you have a star rating of 5. You can earn some rating by answering in disucssion (and write more then a one line answer) Also people can rate you so you earn some points there and maybe someday your star rating will increase

no ofcourse not i think you might have did lot of discussions before stopping and that might have increased your rating no body ll give the rating high for doing nothing you might have been in misconception however it is good and in this rating you can earn money faster than before.
