Help! My husband needs a wardrobe makeover!!

My husband is not exactly fashion conscious, and to make matters worse, he is color blind. He has a closet full of clothes he wore when we were dating, 15 years ago! He sees nothing wrong with this and swears that the multi-colored patterned sweaters he has will come back in style eventually so why not keep them! I say load 'em up and head over to the Goodwill. He wears dress shirts and ties with dress pants most every week day, and that's fine. But it's been really cold here this week and he's started digging through those ugly sweaters. It makes me cringe! We are lacking in cash right now, so to go out and buy him a bunch of new things is out of the question. I've bought some very nice used clothes at Goodwill for myself and my kids, but he told me he doesn't need anything. How do I convince him that he needs to give up the old stuff and embrace the newer styles?

That is a shame, clothes were not ment to last that long, you need to sign him up for one of those makeover shoes.

Be the one to initiate in buying him clothes. I'm sure he will not refused if you already bought the clothes. Since you mention that he's color blind, you're the only person who knows what color is best for your husband. Also, try to look into magazines or try watching the entertainment channel. The show teaches the male sector in dressing up properly with the right attitude, the good thing is they help out also male individuals not only on the physical aspect but the whole personality itself.
