I am a sensitive so I learning about readings- I bought some books at borders, one is called you are pyschic and describes how to get ready mentally and phsically for readings. It takes a lot of reflection and meditation to clear your mind. And always trust your instincts, because what may seem like a weird answer or image may be helpful to whom you give the reading to.

I do not believe that people who claim to be psycic are. People who can sense things usually keep it to themselves. My foster daughter used to be a "psychic" operator on one of those phone lines, don't know if this is the angle you want for you story but... She was instructed to engage the clients in conversation to learn as much about them as possible, then ask leading questions such as had she suffered a loss recently, was something in particular concerning her, etc. She could then use the information she gathered to "predict" their future.
