This post is meant for motivativating all the fellow members, who are expecting to have some decent earnings from Mylot.I hope no one has come here to become a millioniare,though I sicerely feel that this site has tremedous potential for earnings and great future prospects.Anyways, for the time being,I would like to keep this discussion limited to 'earning through posting' only.
FAQ's :
Q. How much can I earn thorugh my postings ?
A. It depends on the quality of your post.
Q. What exactly do you mean by 'quality'?
A. Well,as I see it, quality means sincerity, that is visible in everthing you keyboard.I think, even if you want to start or reply on a thread, which has a title, 'The story behind the broken fingernail of the forth finger of my left foot'; if you can to THAT sincerely, you are paid well for it.
Q. And what do you mean by the phase 'paid well'.Can you give me some clear figures.
A. All I can give you are my earnings.They are abt 3$ for 40 odd postings I have done till date.This excludes earnings through referrals or images.Also note that I am yet to get a star next to my ID.So expect things to improve from here.
Q. Ok, can we earn more than that? I want to earn in 3 figures,wont mind them passing fore or even five figures !
A. I think,there is a lot of potential in this site, and I wont be surprised ,if any member is earning in those figures.
Q. Can you please tell me about how to earn that much?
A. I will tell you that in some other post !

You constantly amaze me with the level of awareness you have about this site, and how much you have earned here, in so little time. I also think that your example about the broken fingernail story is so cute *laugh* And it's right on, as well. If you can post about anything in sincereness, you are going to get paid better, at least hopefully.
I'm sure that your star is going to start out right at ten when you receive it! And I can't imagine it wavering from that number. You truly post valuable info. Thanks! ^_^

I think I am quite accepting that for me the earnings I can get are a very small extra amount .. although I can quite see if I were living in India, Phillipines, Malaysia etc etc .. then the lure of getting American dollars would be quite high and the earnings would actually be quite a lot of money ...
Which is possibly why the site is so popular with our Asian friends .. it's a lucrative site for them ... however if you are European or N American than it's probably no more than a little extra 'pin' money ..

Hmmm...Interesting...Actually at first I wanted to get more money from mylot and was quite disappointed when I knew I'm getting less..but then things went better when I started to do more discussions..I enjoyed discussing with people here at mylot it's like you are talking with someone. Doing more sensible discussions can get you more earnings and replying more sensibly will get you there. 10 discussions a day will work..it will get you somewhere.

I think that mylot does in fact have alot of potential when it comes from earning on line. I do fine and can not complain about my earnings when it comes to my postings! However, my problem comes from the referrals and even photos as i only have one active referral and i have no idea how to go about getting more. I believe that with a big amount of referrals though that we can in fact earn a tremendous amount on here with anough work and attention!!

Thanks for your time and trouble withnthis post! I'm not sure about the broken figenails - I am very proud of my nails, and I wouldn't want to ruin them - LOL!

I find it truly amazing you are so educated on the mylot system when you only have made 41 posts. Here I am at over 800 and I am not as well educated, care to reveal your secret?

I am impressed ...you have been so short a time that I am just in awe of how knowlegeable you are about this site ...as for if( I read that correctly) making $ 3.00 for 41 posts thats extremly good ..I don't keep track of how many or how few I do in a day ,sometimes I will get so involved that it is 12 and way past my bedtime ...
I think that with 20 -30 refferals you could be making a decent income fom here ....which for you if you have type of contacts you can surely get loads of refferals with your pay record alone ...plus your knowledge to get them started too ..good luck

Good Q+A for beginners help. :D
I haven't been on MyLot for about a week or two now, and I'm aiming for about 100 posts a week now. I've got school, etc, so I haven't got as much time as I did when I joined (was on holidays). I'm awaiting my $10 payout.
It'd be awesome to earn into 3 figures! I wouldn't dream of 4, but hey, its possible (if you put in an enormous amount of time and be consistant).

From my perspective, sometimes the way to earn more money seems to be a moving target. One thing that interests me is that most of my "best" posts are from the first week I was on mylot.com. Perhaps there is something about being unaware of the intricacies and strategies of moving up in earing power, and just writing sincerely about things that really interest us. Maybe trying to work the system will make our work less productive?
On the other hand, it seems some people get paid very well and rated will with bland one-liners. Go figure.

I think you've summed it up pretty well. I always think its funny when I see all these people complain because they don't make any money on mylot. They will have like 1000 posts and still not have enough money for a cash out. But then you go back and look at their conversations and they have a bunch of posts like "Yeah, you are right," "I agree," or "No way!" Of course those kind of posts aren't going to get you much money. But some people just can't understand it.
I'm not a power earner like you, but I make enough. I've reached the payout now so I will be getting paid in March. That's good enough for me.

Yeah!!! Money!!! $$$$$$$$$ I'm wishing i have half of billion of money in my bank account!!! So that i wont need to work or worry anymore about money^^ And i can sleep well, enjoy and relax the world everyday, every hour, every minutes, and every seconds.

OK, one question. How does mylot know that you have posted "quality posts"? Do they have staff that reads ALL of the posts here. Thank you for your discussion I have read it through now I will answer you, yes I agree that the members here have to put in quality responses to get paid more, and of course we will not become millionaires on mylot but it is great to discuss and also to respond. Well to receive a lot of money then you have to do a lot of work by contributing a lot of discussions, responding and best responses your topic when you are discussing something also must have a lot of responses then that way you will earn a lot more money besides your referrals.

Thanks. I just joined today and I already like this place pretty well. I loved your example with the broken toenail. $3 for 40-something posts sounds good to me, you're very encouraging. Much more than some of the other people who complain about getting closer to $.03 than $3.
