Do you allow your animal (cat or dog) to sleep with you? I love having my cat sleep with me, but my husband can't stand it, so we lock him out. I have had cats in the past that could not stand being locked out of the room, but this one seems OK with it. He's a lovey dovey kinda cat and pretty easy going.

I hate to say this but any man who is going to be with me will just have to accept that my cats sleep in the bed with me. I wouldn't be with a man who wouldn't allow that. Lukcy for me, my husband is fine with it.
My cat sleeps at my feet, usually although sometimes she crawls up on my chest. We have three that sleep inside and it not uncommon for all three of them to be snuggled up with us.
Right now I have three sleeping next to me as I am on the computer. One is at my hip, one is on the arm of the couch, and one is on my desk. They seem to follow me to whatever room I am in.
I am a cat lover and that will never change, it is part of who I am, and anyone who wants to be with me has to accept that.

My cat always sleeps right at the foot of my bed, usually across my feet. She keeps them warm and sometimes she snuggle and purrs. When she was a little baby kitten she used to sleep up by my head r under the covers, I think because she was a little chilly. My boyfriend LOVES my cat, and I'm very happy about that. Even when my boyfriend sleeps in my room, the cat gets to stay :)

well, for as long as you have your cat a comfortable place to sleep at outside, it's okey.
as for me, my mom won't allow me to make my dog sleep on my bed with me. so, when i want to sleep with my dog, i sleep on the living room sofa so she can sleep beside me without upsetting my mom.

Love me, then love my pets. I guess I have a keeper since he enjoys the cats. We now have dogs and that is pretty good to. They are outside though. Our cats come and go and sleep with us sometimes and others not. Seems like they like our bed better than we do. I beg my Ozzie cat to sleep with me, but he only does now and then. He is furry and so warm it is a treat for him to stretch out along side me. Hubby on the other. Glad your kitty is so understanding.

My dog always slept with us when I had a waterbed, but recently we purchased a new bed and because it is still sitting in the waterbed frame, it is quite high. The dog can hardly jump up and I am trying to make an effort to keep her off of it as she sheds so much. It's rather nice to wake up in the morning and not be covered in dog hair. The cat will occasionally curl up on the bed, but she doesn't do it all that often and she doesn't shed as much so I don't have a problem with it. However, don't tell the dog, but if she pushed the issue, I'd give in and let her sleep with us again.

We have two dogs and both sleep with someone. LOL
The boy dog, Bailey, sleeps with two of the boys in the same room usually.
But right now, he is sleeping next to me on the couch in my room...it is almost 1:30am. Then there is our girl dog, KC, and she sleeps in the room and bed of the three girls. But right now...one of the girls that she normally sleeps with is not in bed right now...so KC had jumped up on my bed and is sleeping with my partner.
My partner likes them sleeping with us. It makes him feel loved I guess. LOL
and when I take a nap when the kids are at school, they are both right there with me! :)

Haha! Cute!
I don't know why anyone wouldn't let their pet sleep with them! And, what I also don't get is when people leave their dogs, or cats outside. That is just mean, and then they really aren't your pet. They are the outsides pet!! :)
Cute response! :DD

Of course I allow our doggy to sleep with me!
I love it! She keeps me and my sisters that sleep with me warm!! Because she, our dog, sleeps under the coves. :)
And, then we also have another BIG basset hound that sleeps with my two brothers.
So, yes our pets sleep with us!! :D

My cat, Midnight, is a little anti-social. So she doesn't come around, unless she wants to come around. I have a 2 year old that begs for Midnight to sleep with her, and since Midnight will have none of it... we bought my daughter a stuffed kitty that looks like Midnight. Every now and then Midnight will get in the bed with me. My boyfriend can not be home, or in the bed, she will not have that. She will get in the bed with me when I'm pretty knocked out.. and leave before I get up. She'd rather sleep on the sofa or in the window.

I have 5 cats and they all sleep with my husband and myself at some point during the night. I have one that sleeps on my pillow above my head and another one that stays between us. Sometimes the bed ends up getting very crowded.

It is medically not healthy to allow your cat or dog to share a bed ith you, they are friends of man, but they are not humans and they should be kept where they belong for the night. We can play with them but not sharing a bed!

My cats allow me to share their bed! There is a small section that I claim as my own. The cats get the rest. Including laying on top of me!

Doh...I just typed out a reply, and when pressed to submit, the window blanked out. That has happened too many times.
Can't write it all out again, but in short, I said it was bliss and an honor whenever my cat/s choose to curl or stretch out on my bed with me. Brings such content and love.
In the past, a dear cat of mine used to even come adn curl in my arms under the covers. Too cute!
Cruelty to humans, if deprived of pet in bed! ;o)

Oh I feel so lucky and content when a can curls (or stretches) out on my bed with me. They don't do this every night, but treats me when she does. So sweet! In the past I've had sweet cats who have even curled up in your arms under the covers, purring, and sleeping peacefully. It gives you bliss!
I'd say cruelty to humans! (Ha ha, if I was deprived of being with my dear animals!).
