Are people too afraid of scams?

I run a website which teaches people how to make money online, i include how much money i have made from each site yet many people are still unwilling to try them. (www.moneyonline.co.nr) Sure there are some scams on the internet and you have to be aware but you also have to put yourself out there if you want to make money. What do you think?

People have been bombarded with so many ways to get rich or earn money they just feel that the next one they hear about is going to be the same.
I think that when you want to lead someone to a win-win situation you need to guide them gentle to change their beliefs about online earnings. If you just show proof and say come on in people will think you just faked the proof.
It's funny because those same people will actually fall for the real scams. :)

Well, it doesn't necessarily mean that 500 posts = $10. It depends on the quality of your posts. =) You just have to post really insightful and relevant responses to discussions. Some people have exceeded the 500-posts mark and yet they are still far away from earning $10, whlle some earn $10 in less than 500 (in my case, I earned my 10th dollar by my 320th posts or less).
Good luck and happy posting! =)

I agree. I have ran into a few scams but that dosn't stop me from trying things. I'll try almost anything as long as it doesn't sound TO good or need a credit card. :) I will pretty much join anything a friend reccomends and if it doesn't work out for me it's no biggie. :)

Well I think most people are wary, because the majority of people wanting to work from home are perhaps students, or stay-at-home parents, who can't do a "normal" 9-5 job, so their disposable income is lower than some others to start with, and they are naturaly scared to lose even more. I was scammed once - a long time ao - and although it was only £10.00 which sounds pathetic, - it really annoyed me, and put me off anything on the Internet for a long while afterwads. I have only just started looking into things again, and I will certainly give your site a look.

I know exactly what you mean. People are so afraid of being taken for a ride, they wont even do a little research to find out of something is legit. There are a lot of keywords people are afraid of, and unfortunatly, I am on my way to making a substantial income but people are afraid to join in because home-based business is one of those phrases. People wont even listen to me because they think what I'm doing will scam them. It's very unfornate for them because they may be missing out on a great opportunity, in the very least, they will have a little more information about how some programs work.
Always do your research, always set your goals, and always keep your mind and eyes open.

Well, most people are afraid of being scammed. Especially those who have been scammed before (like me). People just tend to be overly cautious when dealing with online programs. We can't blame them. There are many real online opportunites around, only, the number of scams is tenfold. =/

I used to work as a Customer Service Rep at a bank, and I got a lot of fraud calls; people whose accounts got hacked into because thay bought somthing online, and so on, and they were the most often reason why people called. Aside from people haviong their actual debit/credit cards stolen, of course. So I'm considerably paranoid, yes.
I think it helps if your website looks credible, though, and if you assure people things are secure and the steps taken to make sure things stay secure.
