Are Sundays the most boring day of the week?

I find it difficult to get the motivation to get out of bed on a Sunday. On all the other days of the week I have to get up, not just to take my daughter to school but I usually have other things planned.
However Sundays are often just a day when nothing really happens and I struggle to get out of bed.
What do you do on a Sunday?

I, on the contrary, love sunday. Although it is the last day of the weekend I love Sunday. I get up early go to church, and then am able to get alot on Sundays. For some reason I do my best cleaning and finishing tasks on Sunday. Monday on the other hand..Woha! I don't like Monday's at all! They are so long, boring, and WOW tomorrows Monday...Grreeat (sarcastic *sigh*)

You shouldn't waste your Sunday worrying about what Monday will bring. You should enjoy your day of freedom.

no i do not think sunday is the most boring day of the week.actually it is the way you are spending the day makes the boring or rocking,if you can keep your self busy in some kind of thing you have interest in,then the day will be no more boring for you, have a try then.

I find Sundays depressing. AM 740 has different programming, some things aren't open, any day where it's not business as usual is boring and depressing to me
Now, next week I'm flying to Phoenix, so I have a boatload of things to do before i leave, so today isn't a boring Sunday. What I need to do now is get off my butt and get out there before the busses stop running for the day. They quit early on sundays.

It used to be really bad in this country as the shops weren't allowed to open at all on sundays, but at least now they open for 6 hours.

LOL! Treat it as a well deserved rest day! After a busy week there is nothing better than having a day where you dont need to do anything. Enjoy it! Sometimes I get one of them sundays, but not often! My two year old doesnt understand that sometimes mummy would love to sleep in past 7am!

I was working Sundays for a while. But, I thought I was done with it about six weeks ago. So, since I went to church on Saturday, I was thought I was going to just lay around all day last week. But, then, they called me to work again! So, now I have to be ready for work whether they need me or not.

I go to work at about 10am on a Sunday morning, that gets me out of bed! I then go to my boyfriend and come home to do some homework. I do find it difficult to motivate myself to do the school work though, but that's not just on Sundays!

Oh I get out of bed everyday very early it does not worry me what day it is I just have so much to do every day that I have to get motivated whether it be Sunday or another day, but sometimes the reason that people cannot get motivated on Sunday is due to this is rest day and most of the time people have been out either on Friday or Saturday night and another reason is the time that we go to bed.

I don't consider Sunday a rest day because I don't go out on Friday or Saturday night, its because I don't have the kids that day.

For me,I don't find Sunday is boring as I have a lot of work to do in my own warehouse.Sometimes, I will visit my friends as well.I don't see what is the different between weekday and weekend as I see it everyday is the same.
Appreciate every moment.Don't waste it.
Cheers!

I never consider sunday as a boring day for me because thats the only time wherein my whole family spends time together. We attend mass on our church and then we dine in a restaurant. After which we either stay at home watch dvd or watch movies on the movie house. Its also the best time to relax and get ready for the rest of the week.

We used to get together as a family on a Sunday which was nice, but now I've moved too far away from my parents to do it any more which is a shame.

I like Sundays. I find them relaxing, I can lay in bed as long as I want, then I can have the whole day to do as much or as little as I please. Generally, I pass Sundays by watching movies, playing online games, reading, going for walks, or cleaning.

maybe I just have a problem with having free days, I like to have my life planned, so if Sundays aren't planned I find them boring.

Many people will argue that there is never much going on on Sundays. However, I feel that this is not true. When I finally get up (sometimes it is late, I admit...), I make it a point to make the day exciting, simply because the next day is Monday, and it goes back to routine. :)

I would love to struggle to get out of bed, but one of my kids absolutely cannot be left unsupervised. So if he's up, I'm up. Usually we go to church on Sundays, but we're playing hooky this week, and I'll catch up on the laundry and work on getting some other stuff done around the house. My daughter had a friend spend the night and they stayed up super late, so they're both still sleeping. At least someone is getting to sleep late around here, lol.

For me it's the opposite there are a lot of things to do on Sundays since im off from work its the day for laundry, cleaning, shopping and going to church, or if i am really lazy i just watch movies at home on dvds.
Since you have a kid you should try to do some activities with her like shopping or swimming to have bonding time.

We do those things on other days. On sundays the kids are usually with their dad which is why it can be boring for me.

I too struggle to get out of bed on Sunday, but it the best day of the week for me. If I have to work I don't go in until later in the day, so we get up and my husbband and I make a huge breakfast and actually sit at the kitchen table and eat with the kids. The first Sunday of every month we go over to my inlaws and have a Texas Hold 'Em game. $10 buy in winner take all. It's nice because there's usually 10 of us there and the kids all play together. I love Sunday!

That sounds great. I love having breakfast in bed with the kids. That sometimes happens on a Saturday for us, but Sunday's I'm on my own.

As an employed person I look forward for a sunday so that i need not get up early. This is the day when i take care of all my personal work and prepare myself for the ensuing week.
I also get to watch a bit of television on this day and spend some time with my family.
