How to get many REPLIES to your posts

I agree, some people (I won't name names) just get at least 100 replies regardless! The actual discussions aren't anything special, but they have alot of friends, etc, who continue to just follow them around and post in anything they make! Pays to have friends it seems!

Yeah, friends do really help outta here. They reply to each other's every question. I think the best way to get a whole lotta replies is to make a lot of frnds outta here. They will definately check into ur profile and reply everytime. They are the ones who will answer no matter how useless u post ur discussion. I hav added u as my friend, hope u do the same. And this not for nothing, u need to reply to my posts. Ofcourse, i will also do the same... Carry on...

i hve many discussions n hve responses from 0 to 127........ & with my experience i can say that if u want to hve tons of replies to ur discussion u hve to do following........ 1.send invitation to as many ppl as u can,when they will accept u they will surely reply to one or two of ur discussions....... 2.Try to add as many comments to every response u can....it will help u make ur discussion on the top......n it will get more attention if it is at top...... 3.try to get minimum of 10 responses to ur every discussion....as soon as ur discussion will hve 10 respones...it will be featured in todays top discussion........as mylot wants to give every discussion an exposure......... i hope these 3 points will be quite enough to help u.....(i hve written the above material from my experience....it might not be true....)

That's what friends for, arent they? Lol. So i guess we better make lots of friends here. But of course, i dont just reply to friends, I also post comments on topics im interested in, on good & quality topics..

I agree its nice to log on and see that people are actually reading what you have taken the time to write, its also nice to see your star rating rise as people actually take the time to rate the responses they get and give best responses to help boost thier friends earnings

I've tried to get myself a group of friends that I enjoy reading and commenting on - I come here to enjoy the discussions so I might aswell enjoy what I'm looking at =)

I think you are quite right , I havn't been writing here long but I usually check the discussions of the people who have been kind enought to leave a mesage on mine , that way you get to know who people are and get an idea of what their likes and dislikes are , hope that makes sense xx

Yes Even I have seen this, as they are the people who get somany responses for any discussion they start. Even I started this kind of discussion 2-3 day back that there are only some people who are very common here and get so many responses to their discussions.

Yeah that's right...but you know what, I think it takes time and effort to create such a "family". Do you think we need to build up separate relationships with out friends for this by sending them private messages?

yes i agree that some post have a lot of replies,i also do not know what topic will get a lot of response,my post only have a few response

before i usually do not get much replies. I dont know why i get many replies these past days. I don't send invitations to friends. I have never done that. I only have 203 friends, 20 of this have been added yesterday, i guess. one trick i learned though is to comment on the responses you get from time to time so that your posts will be noticed again. Also, make sure your posts are something people can really relate to, yet not so complicated for them to respond to.i hope that helps.

Tips for getting more responds (how to drive others respond to you) I am not sure if there is something to do with each other between earning ratio and respond amounts. but getting more responds to the discussion I created always makes me happy! well, that's what I am going to talk, why others get more responds than you, though you are discussiong the same topic. First of all, let's see what drives people to make a respond??? According to my study, there are two kinds of ppl and also two types of responds here on mylot usually! 1. short responds with only a few words, and the posters are usually newbies or money addicts. They make a respond just for increasing their post quantity to get more rating and to get to 500 so that they can use copy and paste function; or other guys who only post for money purpose. Their posts are usually meaningless. 2. long responds with many words and abundant contents. These posters are usually serious ones. They only respond to the topics that attract their interest, and they have something, some ideas to show or to share on that very topic. They always give out of their own ideas in their responds; both the discusion creater or other readers can gain something from their posts. Now you may know that which kind of posters you need to get hold of! It goes without saying, we should drive the 2nd posters to make more responds. While whether they make a respond or not depends on what you are discussing! That is the content of your discussion, if it is worth discussing or not!!!!!! So now you may know how to make a discussion??? a. always discuss something that most ppl may be interested in; b. always try to make your discussion meaningful; c. always make your discussion has abundant content; d. always post your own ideas in your discussion; e. always try to type more (but not bullsh*t); f. always ask questions at the end of your posts (drive the others to comment on your ideas) Enjoy your mylot day and good luck!

Personally, i look for quality posts. Lucky for me, you make quality posts, so you will see my responses quite often. i do enjoy your sense of humor and it can make me smile even on the worst of days, so keep typing away, my friend, because sooner or later, others will discover what a gem you really are.

I agree. Makes you feel that someone's actually reading it and you're not doing this for nothing. But some other people make great discussions but don't have friends there to support their discussions and reply to them; then they get bad ratings, etc.

i think that you should email abt the post to everyone in ypur list, and put some interesting posts that people wanna discuss.....add pictures that will attract many people......

a begginer like you always starts this discussion...even i started it....well hope i could help you out,but even im fed up of listening stories...everybody has to say something different..i m in a dilemma now...who's ideas i should implement. if you get the nswer do tell me also. but as for now...jss keep posting quality posts(and as much as you can),try to get refferals for yourself(active ones)..start good discussions...make friends who would really bother to reply you..rate the discussions,,the responses... it will surely help.

getting more replies by posting the hot topic which is seen by all and able to respond each other for the comments.. if the discussions started then no way u can able to keep it for a long time it seems...

Some people seem to reply to everyone on their friends lists. I like to reply to anything that seems interesting to me.

I dont really know, because knowone seems to answer my discusions, if someone wants to do a search on me and respond to my posts I would be very happy!
