do you give coins or food to a child beggar

when you have crossed the street and you have seen a child beggar, which would you prefer to give, food or coins you have in your pocket, Me, I would choose to give food to them to satisfy their own hunger, in that way they are the ones who will benefit from it.

i would give them food and drink. you say a child beggar. that's sad. i would have to take them in and give them a bath and clothes to wear and love them. since their parents can't afford to take care of them. :(

I would give them something if I do have something to give. I hate it when people are hungry and there isn't much I could do for them.
