I think some people think of her as their "guilty little secret", where they read her books but don't want to tell anyone for fear of being laughed at. I love Nora's books, normally have one with me even when i'm reading another book. I carry an extra for when i'm done with the one i'm in the middle of.
How many of you watched "Angels Fall" last monday with Heather Locklear and Jonathan Schaech? I did. I now can't wait for "Montana Sky", "Blue Smoke" and my all time favorite Nora book, "Carolina Moon".
I admit that while I enjoy her writing, I do not like her books as J.D.Robb. I just can't get into those.
What are your favorite books/characters/series by her?

I don't know why anyone would keep Nora Roberts as a guilty little secret. Her books have it all - likeable characters, romance, a little mystery (some even a little creepy). She has a style that keeps you glued to the pages even when you're supposed to be cooking supper. I haven't had a chance to see the movie, but sometimes movies ruin books anyway. Her books by J.D.Robb are some of my favourites, but if I had to pick a series it would have to be the "Born In" series set in Ireland. I've read them over and over.

The Born series is one of my favorites also, I have read them so many times that they are falling apart. I am thinking of going and buying the series again, just so I can have new ones.

I totally understand. Mine were second hand copies as it was. I don't even like to lend them. Someone might have it when I want to reread it. My favourite of the Born In series is "Born in Ice". There is something about Brianna that strikes a chord in me.

I love all her books! My all time favorite is "Montana Sky" I was totally disapointed in the movie on Lifetime they changed way to much and left out too many important things. It was so badly done that I have actually been contemplating writing a complaint the network, but I guess that would be a little overboard, it is just a book afterall. LOL

I love Nora Roberts. I love her as JD Robb too. I have the whole JD Robb series and read a blurb for the new InDeath book and am not waiting anxiously. Eve and Roarke seem like such real characters to me :D

I love Nora! I try to read every book that comes out. I watched Angels Fall, but missed Montana Sky last night. I am so bummed! But I don't want to miss the next two. I didn't read the first two, but did read the last two.
I also cannot seem to get into the JD Robb books... I just love her regular books.

The Montana Sky movie wasn't bad, but I don't think they are as good as the books.
I totally can't read her JD Robb books. I tried but can't get into them.

I just got into listening to audiobooks on my ipod. I haven't had time to read in years and I've missed it. So this is perfect for me! I have listened to a number of her books. My favorite was probably Blue Smoke. Though I really enjoyed the series about the Quinn brothers. I loved Ethan's character the best. I watched Angel's Fall last night (I had recorded it). But I was in the middle of listening to the book and now I don't know if I'll finish since I know how it ends! I'll have to do it differently with the others. Can't wait for Blue Smoke!

the movies are totally different than the books! they leave out characters, important characters at that. I liked them, but they drove me nuts because I prefer them to be spot on.
Ethan was my fave out of the Quinn brothers too.

If I didn't know better I would think I asked that question.
I have all of her books, and I mean all, next to my bed in a bookshelf. I reread her books over and over and over. J.D. Robb is great! Some of the parts are really gory, and I usually have to pass over the more graphic content, but I just love the same characters book after book. It is great to see how she develops these characters time after time.
I watched "Angels Fall" But I missed "Montana Sky" I hope they repeat it. How was it?

I do love to read Nora Roberts. I own most of those books and have read some more than once. I do also like her J.D. Robb books. I just love to read.
I didn't get a chance to see the movies that they made from her books but perhaps when I get back to netflix's I can rent them and watch them.
