Smelly mouth

What would you do if you are talking to a person who had a problem with smelly mouth? I ever been on this situation, and it is a little bit hard. I really hate that smelly, but i can't do anything, if i gone it will be touch on his feeling. So, what should you do, or have you ever had a problem with your mouth?

Always carry gum with you, and if you can't stand the smell, or someone has smelly breath, offer them some gum as you put a peice in your mouth, that way your being friendly by sharing, not saying EW YOUR BREATH STINKS CHEW THIS!
