Book or movie quotes are fine.
For me (and I beg forgiveness, since I'm paraphrasing):
The rhyming game lines in the movie rank up there.
"Inconceivable!"
"You keep saying that word. I don't think it means what you think it means."
"You have a truly dizzying intellect."
"We'll never make it out alive!"
"Nonsense! You're only saying that because nobody has yet."
And, um... many others.... such a quotable movie....

This is also one of my favorites, but you can't forget that he says "Hello" (pronounced Ha-lo) before he says that!

Yep that line gets my vote, especially during the whole fight scene with the six fingered man.

Agreed. That is truly one of the most hilarious lines I've ever read, and the delivery of that line makes it all the more funny.

Oh man so many lines, "You keep saying that word, I do not think it means what you think it means." Is a good one, as is "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die." "What are you looking at" "You have six fingers on your right hand" "And" "Someone was looking for you", and of course "Aaaaassss yooouuuuu wwwiiiishhhhhh...."

You cannot mention the number of the fingers on the Count's hand without thinking of "Do you always begin conversations this way?" I think someone should try to find a line that is NOT quotable, hehe.

There are so many good quotes in that movie. It's one of my favorites. I love the:
"We'll never make it out alive!"
"Nonsense! You're only saying that because nobody has yet."
But there are many others that were good. It's non-stop in there. It's a classic and one I think was far better then the book. It made it come more to life for me.

My favorite line from the Princess Bride is when Westley starts to explain to the Pain and he says, "I'll explain and I'll use small words so that you'll be sure to understand you warthog faced buffoon."
Ah, I love that movie!! There are so many quotes. . .

You should! It's a really good movie, a cult classic, I think. Sad that it's not more popular than it is.

This is my #1 movie of all time. I have watched it a million and two times. So many favorite lines. Another one that is a good one that I did see on here yet is....
King: "What was that for?" Buttercup: "Because you have always been so kind to me, and I won't be seeing you again since I'm killing myself once we reach the honeymoon suite." King: "Won't that be nice..... She kissed me!"

For me, the best line from this film has simply got to be Westley's "As you wish", never fails to send shivers up my spine!! (in a good way, not a horrible spine-chilling way!)

I think that line is everyone's favorite. At least those who love this movie. I like this line and also "As you wish....."as Westly is falling down the steep hill.

So many good lines in this movie! I would have to choose something that I've chosen as one of the best comedic lines in movie history: "Marriage!"

"I do not envy you the headache you will have when you awake. Until then, rest well and dream of large women."
"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
This is probably my favorite movie of all time. *sigh* Westley was so dreamy....
