I need recommendations on brands of DVD-/+R to buy

I'm running low on hard disk space right now. So I'll start making data back ups. What brand of DVD-R or DVD+R should I buy? (The ones that are less prone to have errors during burning and data verifications.) Recommendations are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

in my experience, just find the cheepest one. the brand name of the discs don't really matter. the errors aren't from the discs but the bunner device and/or program itself. when i had a lot of errors while burning dvd's we found out we had a virus and it was messing with our programs. so, the better deal you can find the better.
