Nowadays cellphones are neccesity because of the fast changing world that we have. Anywhere we go we meet people and we want to communicate people fast.

Necessity. I use it so I know what time the people I'm meeting up with are arriving, or I text message them if I'm going to be late, etc.
It also helps my mom keep track of me, though. :D

My cell phone has never been a luxury for me. Back in the days when cell phones weighed nearly 5 lbs and were the size of a laptop computer they were still a necessity. I got my first cell phone because I was on the road a lot. A woman had just been killed by a "good samaritan" who stopped to help her when her car stalled on the freeway. I had a flat tire in an area that was very unsafe and had a difficult time getting to a phone to call AAA (an auto club to which I belong). From that time forward, my family has had cell phones.

well i think that i don't need the cell phone, after all i am just 16 and i can work it out but i think it can be handy sometimes and gives a little use and also i could keep in touch with my friends and i think that people who go to the office and are in need of a job, they must acquire a mobbile.

Luxury, I like having a cell phone, It makes it so convenience and I don't worry when I am by myself. But I don't really need it I mean it's not going to keep me alive or get me to heaven or anything that is very important to me. So it's not a necessity. It's a luxury..............

I feel it is s necessity now. If you asked me 7 years ago I probably would answer different.
