Im currently in a big creative mood, and churning out paintings like theres no tomorrow, Ive added a photo of one of my paintings, what do you think?
I really enjoy painting, although Im no Picasso or Monet, lol, I am also enjoying making a bit of extra money selling my artworks on ebay.
At the moment Im in a really creative mood and am churning out artworks like theres no tomorrow.
So what I wanted to ask was what do you use as inspiration for your artworks, and what kind of art do you create?
At the moment I gather inspiration from other artworks, as well bits and pieces from an artists journal i have kept for awhile, that has pictures, words, thoughts, photos, poetry etc in it.

My garden is my inspiration; I am a freelance artist/ painter. I do landscapes and florals. I love Claude Monet, he is my favorite professional artist.
I paint and garden too for relaxation. I have over the last few years started to try to sell my paintings; it takes a long time to get things going, and it's not what you know, it's who you know.

Thanks for sharing your personal experience. If you happen to have one of your artworks on computer, Id love for you to post it so I can see it. Ive never been one for landscapes, I dont have enough patience or talent for anything that requires details. I am definitely an abstract girl, suits my personality to a tee, because my brain is always off on its own little tangent and I am constantly having ideas being babmboozled around in my brain in a chaotic mess.

You should try selling your stuff too, its really easy, and gives me a place to get rid of all my artworks so to speak, lol, otherwise by now id need another house just for my artworks lol.
You should add a pic of your artworks if you have any on the comp- only reason i do is cause i need the pictures for ebay lol.
I want to set up a website but dont know how to go about it really...

Mood is an extremely contributing factor in the creation of my artworks. I tend to use a lot of monotones, and neutral colours in my works, due to the fact my depression is a major inspiration fo rmost of my pieces, and as I mentioned earlier, my depression was teh reason I began painting again.

Well, that is so good for you and I envy you. I don't have a talent for painting, but I do admire people who paint and I do enjoy their work when I get a chance to look at them. So, happy painting!!!
