Why Are Men Afraid of Commitment (Marriage)?

Are ALL Men Afraid to Commit? Why? Why do most of the men run away from commitments or to commit?
Actually I have a friend who says that whenever she starts to talk about marriage commitment with her boyfriend, he either changes the topic or says he needs time. She says, she knows that he loves her a lot, but is afraid to commit for marriage. Why so, she doesn't understand.

Most men I have met seem to be scared of commitment I don't really understand why. I can tell you though that it isn't true of all men, so don't dispair!

i m affraid that men are really afraid of marriage , it is because as all their other bachelor friends say that its a jail etc. , so it hurts the ego of the man , so they think its not such a good thing , but it is really sad that they dont have a mind to think that this is the ultimate destination , they think it like it will bound tem or something, it is just the stupid friends who tell them so , but actually it is never like that ,

Most of the men are afraid of commitments because they see marriage as a boundage. They think their freedom would be taken away if they get married. Some men think themselves too young for taking the resposibilities so they avoid commitments.

Not all men, Some of them will afraid. You know why that guy not respond her, Coz he needs to extend his bachulour life.Commitment makes a men in a narrow way.His/Her mind thinking goes in a prime way of approach.But no commitment in the sense No one achieve a lot.

yeh thats right I think. I mean men feel like in a narrow way because of commitments & yes that guy may want to extend his bachelor life. Anyways thanks for responding!
