After Kelly Clarkson, why do all the subsequent American Idol champs suck out?

HA! I agree!! Although Clay Aiken is giving Kelly a run for her money, where are the rest of them?

Ruben and Fantasia has already released both a second album. You don,t have to be in the pop culture to be good. They both are good in their style of music and their album are selling pretty good. Of course they don't sell like kelly or carrie but they are still good singer.

well, i think you have your point but most may disagree... if you do say they suck, it means american standard sucks too... why, becase judges are blind and most the decisions not relate to your likes so you might say they suck but certain standard was in criteria... why would they make a big deal of it, is all that follows sucks? each are diffferent in tone and genre for voice quality... thats why we have to consider kelly's voice is more for pop and alternative or love songs while fantasia is of blues and jazzy... carrie for love songs and melody, taylor for rythmic and classy but modern appoach pattern... everyone passed the standard and quality thats why we can never say the rest sucks...^_^ take care.

Personally Carrie Underwood is my favorite. Kelly is OK but she was never one of my favorites.

that's a big mistake! did you know that according to most americans, they believe that Carrie Underwood is the best idol ever?! Though I still believe that kelly clarkson is still the best, other people say otherwise. That proves that they don't suck! That's hasty generalization. In fact, not only the champions had launched their carreers, the non-winners had did it as well. Chris, Bucky, Katharine, Elliot, and Kelly of season 4 had their own successful albums, JUstin Guarino, Clarkson's runner up, has his hits too, among others. So you better read the news first before saying nasty things about idol!

I agree with you neil_alexandro, but I wouldn't say they suck completely, they just pale in comparison with Kelly.
