Child Marriage

Today morning when I was watching news, they were saying that in many backward areas in India, still child marriage system is going on. In the beginning child marriage system was started in India because many young girls were kidnapped & rapped in olden days so they thought if the girl is married as a child, her responsibility would be of her in-laws. Then after independence of India due to new laws, child marriage was stopped till some extent. Now again we hear that child marriages are going on in many places in India. It is illegal, but still many people are following it & some are even well educated. What do you think about child marriages? What should be done to stop this totally?

I think you need to be old enough to understand the true meaning of love before you get married. You need to know that you really want to be with the person for the rest of your life.

Child marriage is a big crime and our government needs to take some action against it. Also the common people should report it when they come to know about child marriages taking place anywhere.
