Now, I find having two lots of '11 o'clock' muddling ... it's so much easier to have the 24 hour clock settings ..
11.00hrs is morning .. 23.00hrs is evening .. what could be more simple than that .. and I'm an 'oldie' too .. and I like simplicity in my life ..

Digital clocks are the worst things for children because they do not teach them to tell the time, it makes them lazy, children should have analogue clocks and watches to help them master the time. I never wear a watch, I don't like jewellery on my hands at all. I think time goes by quick enough, I will use my mobile if I really need the time when I am out. I much prefer analogue clocks. I do have a clock radio which is digital, I always set it 30 mins fast so I can have an extra 30 minutes in bed of a morning.

I guess I'm old fasioned too then because I also prefer analogue. I think especially my children need to see *some* analog clocks around because digital clocks seem to be everywhere! Just for christmas I bought watches for 3 of my children and I made sure they were not digital.

I prefer analogue too. I do have a digital alarm clock as I like to be able to see the time at night, but I prefer all my watches and clocks to be analogue, it also helps my girls learn how to tell the time properly.

Heeheh ... I had to go and look to see what my two clocks were .. both are digital .. the kind that are externally time set by radio signals .. digital is so much easier to read .. and I have both set on 24 hour timing (e.g. 5 minutes past 11 at night is 23.05hrs) as that is what I was used to using when I was working .. so think in terms of 24 hours a day rather than 2 lots of 12 hours ..
Now I have just checked my watches (which I rarely if ever use) and they are analogue .. probably because they look neater and are easier to buy than digital ..

Well Weeman i dont really have preference on this subject, however i know i'm getting old cause all my clocks are set 10 minutes ahead of themself !!!! so i make sure i don't run late, it also gives me an extra ten minutes in bed, i arrive 10 minutes early to pick up the kids from school etc...it does my mums head in if you looks at the clocks in my house, she thinks the T.V programmes should of started when of course there's still 10 minutes to go.....i think this is actually one off my compulsive behaviours...and old age xxxxx

I usually set them to digital, I think it's faster to realize what time it is when you have to read some numbers rather than calculating the position of some lines :)
However to each person its own, I don't think you are old fashioned or anything, it's only you have a strong habit (like mine with the digital :) ).
