making more money on mylot

I am not so sure what all the factors aree that influence the amount you make. I read the help file and it seems that the people form mylot wants you to rate other peoples responses and posts, so I think perhaps you will earn more if you do ratings? Will you automatically earn more if you have a higher rating on myLot or if you refer more people? I could not find information about this. What do u think?
