I am extremely attached to my computer. I can go without it for a week for vacation but otherwise, I gotta have it. Could you do without a computer? What would you miss most if you had to do without?

Oh I definately can't live without my computer - sometimes even when I've been on holiday I've taken my laptop with me! It's like my communication to my little world! I also couldn't live without my eyeliner and mascara! Sad but true oh and of course my daughter, friends and family :-)

Well, that isn't very healthy on your part. I live about four months without a computer each year without any difficulty. Although I won't complain, I live my computer, but I could do without it.

Oh well I believe I could for a couple of months and you want to have a vacation on a place where there is no communication except talking to people, wild animals, and nature. It's lots of fun. But after you'll gonna miss the city life and your computer, your friends in there, your business if you have and lots of this you used to do but at least it's healthy to get rid of it once in a while.

I too am extremely attached to my computer. I hate not having any computer access for more than a week. I feel that I have to check my email at least 2x a day. If I had to do without, I would definitly miss checking email and checking my forums/chat sites that I frequent.

I honestly think that I cannot live without computers. Eventhough I am a nurse, I am still a tech junkie. Without computers, half of my life is gone.
This is the technoligical age that we are living in. To those who didn't jump to the bandwagon of using computers are still stagnant in their place. They did not progress. They were left behind. That is why computer is important in this era.
Now, what will I miss if there will be no computers in sight? First, gaming. I'm a game fanatic from online games to simple rpg games. Second, photo editing. I love making photos better (or worse). Third, word editing. I always love to type and make documents and articles. Lastly, Internet. Imaging my world without internet. I will not be able to connect to anyone. That will be an island with you alone on it.
That's it. Computer is vital in today's world. And I know it will be more important in the future.

I could live without a computer but I really wouldn't want too. It makes doing my school work much more easy. The part I would miss most about having a computer is probably not being able to check world news and watching the videos on youtube.com.

No I could not live with out my puter. It is now a part of the family. We have 3 puters on our home, mine , my sons, and my daughters and they are a huge part of our lives. The only one who does not use the puters is my hubby and that is only because he does all of that at work.

I could but I couldnt. so its undecided . I think if I absoulutely had to I could. I would miss having the connection to whatever I want to research within seconds. I would have to wait to go to the library or someone elses house to use the computer.
