WE did not go anywhere except a local restaurant because that was all we could afford at the time. I do not have any regrets though, we have gone to a lot of nice places since then.

We went to South Padre, Texas for our honeymoon. The sad thing about it was we went on that winter where it snowed everywhere in the USA and we got to have fun on the last day we were there. So, we'll go back again someday to make it up.

We went to gatlinburg in tennessee. It seems to be the big honey moon spot in these parts. It was Ok but you really have to have some big money to have a good time there. I guess on our honeymoon we didnt care if we had money or not. But we still go up there for vacation and it takes the money if you want to have fun esspecially with children.

In 1997 me and my wife we went to Ireland for our honeymoon. We are italians and we did a Fly&drive tour: in other words we arrived in Dublin and we had a rented car waiting for us at the airport. Then we spent each day in a different place: Dublin, Limerick, Galway, The Aran Islands (Inishmore more exactly), the county of Sligo etc... and we came back to Dublin after twelve wonderful days... We crossed Irelend from east to west in the middle and made a clockwise route in the northern part of the island, so I hope that some day we could make a second honeymoon in Ireland, just to visit the southern part of it...
PS during a stop in a bed&breakfast accomodation we met a couple coming from Tennessee: Mr. and Mrs. Mc Kormick. That was their second honeymoon and they choose Ireland because of their origins... well they were aged people and I have a sweet remember of them and the love that you could see in their eyes...
