Aw they are sooo cute! My cat had some kittens about 7 years ago now, she was a long haired cat and she had 4 beautiful fawn coloured long haired kittens, they were the most cutest cats you ever saw! It would be lovely to keep them this small wouldn't it? Although I do enjoy them when they have grown up and stopped digging their claws in your legs to climb up!!

I actually like them around 6 to 8 weeks, but they're best when they're adults. You always have to watch kittens.

Yeah, that's when it's the most fun to play with them. But, now I wouldn't have time so an adult cat would be best.

yeah unfortunately the older we get...the less time we have to play too...though I do try to make an exception to goof off whenever I can :)

It would certainly be a lot of fun if they could remain that little, but I do enjoy the fact that my cat has mellowed somewhat, as he's aged. I don't think I could keep up with a kitten anymore.

I love it when kittens are little. The way they look, the way they will tumble and play. So I figured out what to do. I bought a farret. No they are not a cat but they act just like one if you train them right. I read on the internet about farrets that farrets are kittens that never grow up.

I am familiar with farrets,I had one years ago but for some reason he liked to bite...it scared me.But it could be because we got it out of the paper & it had never been handled...later we found out it was also blind & albino...so the poor little guys kinda had some odds against him. Good luck with your farret! :)

Yes, they are cute. And so are all creatures as babies. But, we must all grow and age and die, to complete the circle of life.

I would love it if our cat was still a kitten! They are so adorable! But I don't miss the sharp little claws scratching on my furniture and the jumping up on tables and counters (OK, he still does that sometimes). But that cuddly little ball of purring fur is the best!

Hi there...they are certainly adorable when they are this tiny. I loved watching how they try to figure out everything as babies and their awkwardness/clumbsy nature--their curiosities as well as their antics were amazingly cute/funny than they are when they are adults.
Have you ever seen this video of a young cat trying to jump over a baby gate?

6 months old still isn't very big & is a very cute age for a kitten...it's probably doing some pretty entertaining things to make you laugh & smile...enjoy! :)

My friend had a pair of kittens named Billee and Patches who had an awful bout with Parvo which stunted their growth permanently and they never grew past about 3 months old's size. They're very tiny and very lovely, which is a huge surprise since we didn't think they were going to make it. It's such a gift, too, because they ended up moving into a trailer and if they were much bigger, they'd have had to get rid of them.

I know they have to grow up, but I wish kittens could stay babies longer. They are only tiny for a little while, and then they're grown cats for many years. I love my adult cats, but sometimes I long for a baby who actually wants to hop around and play. There is nothing more darling than a baby kitten.

I didn't want my kitten to grow up, but he did. He's still my adorable little munchkin head, though.

Kittens are really cute and if I could get one that would stay the size of a kitten but be like an older cat this is what I would like . Kittens are cute but they attack anything that moves lol whereas cats are more for lazing around and letting you hold them .
I remember going to my uncle's house years ago and wanted one of his cats but never was able to get it but he had cats that were the size of kittens and looked every bit like a kitten but they still had the kitten attitude also . Apparently the mother and father were brother and sister and this had caused the kittens to be retarded and stunted their growth . I can remember at the time finding this very fascinating .

No. They are cute that way but more prone to hurt and disease. I lost my previous pets due to animal cruelty and since then any pet I have stays indoors. I am always panic about their changes of habit and also stay dilligent with the vet's advices. I wish this is a better world and tiny animals can stay safe from harm.
