Believe

It's so unfortunate how religion is so misunderstood nowadays. There may be some fanatics, misguided followers or extremists and fundamentalists that gives religion a bad name. Religion in it's true essence explains to man his humanity and meaning of his existence. The Strength of humanity as you put it is emphasized in the teaching of most religions. It is not an "either-or" case. Religion is the desire to fulfill one's spiritual needs and find his Creator. And some people are successful in their search. They found their life in their faith in God. They are at peace with God and with their fellow men. They believe that their service to humanity is an expression of their service to God.

I believe in Spirituality and with that there has to be some major driving force behind it. In my instance it is the God/Goddess aspect of Nature. Humanity plays only a part in the totality of all of nature. I will stand with you; however, I can't support that only the strength of humanity is what I believe in ~Donna

I'm with you. Religion has only ever caused conflict. As you say we are all humans and should live together in peace. I was brought up with no religion but I was taught that there is also only one race and that is the human race. I meet people I like and people I don't like but I am influenced by their behaviour and not by what race they are or what religion they follow.

I am with you on that. I don't believe in God anymore. I think people focus too much on religion that they forget about everything else around them.

i dont believe in religion but i believe there is a Supreme Being.i also agree with u that we should all live as humans with good minds.i think we should focus on the strength of spirituality cos that would make humanity stronger.
