Does Your Pet Watch the TV???

Yes, my pet likes to watch t.v. They do know what is going on. They recognize images too. I had a friend who had a dog, and every time a commerical came on the tv, with a dog in it, and the commercial ended the dog would get up and walk behind the tv. It was too funny and cute.

My cat gets excited when there's an animal show on TV. Sometimes we'll turn on Animal Planet just to see his reaction. He loves to watch birds and animals moving around a lot.

Hi there...both my cats seem to enjoy watching the television if I have on nature programs with birds, bats, insects...fast moving and high-frequency sounding critters. I had a cat who liked to watch football on TV. He really seemed to enjoy watching the people run around after the football. The cats I have now sometimes watch TV if there is a "ticker" on the bottom of the screen. (you know what I mean? when words or symbols are moving along the bottom of the screen?) They try to grab at the words. Otherwise, they seem to ignore the TV.
