Have you had any others previously, and what do you think?
I currently have a 1st gen ipod Nano, and I love it. Before this, I had an ipod mini (1st gen), and the battery life compared to the nano was terrible. I love the size of the nano, and I'm happy with the sound quality :)

I have a 20 gig... I think it was 2nd gen? I don't know. I have been happy with it... and then I came home this week and it just wouldnt start no matter what I did. It had been charging all day. I freaked out... but not too bad because I have a warranty... but then my fiance told me to hold down the center button for 30 seconds then hit menu. I tried this three times and then out of nowwhere it came on. And it's been working. It was scary though.

I currently have a 4GB green iPod mini and I'm fine with it. I haven't ran across any difficulties using it and I feel the sole purpose of an iPod is to listen to music, no need for color or movies if you just want to hear your music.

I currently have an iPod touch with 8 GB. I love it! I have lots of songs on it, some videos, TV shows, pictures and on audio book and I still have lots of room. I also have lots of apps on it. The best thing about it is the ability to connect to a wireless internet connection. It is great to travel with when you don't want to lug around your laptop.

I have a fourth generation 20gb hd ipod. I bought my ipod from ebay which was in a non-working condition. I repaired the internals and it is fully operational system. It is very useful other than just storing music. I use it to store computer repair software and programs as well.
