Actually, different applications have different resources needs. Like if you're gonna go into Video Editing, you should have at least 1GB of RAM in order to render videos fast. If you're into Graphic Editing, still you would need to have a larger RAM. If you think that your system is still slow, that's the time when you need to squeeze some juice out of it...try overclocking. With this, you'd be able to increase the performance of your system without having to upgrade.
You have to be careful though because pushing your system to the limit has its own price also.

i dunno if there such game yet..but i think so it is possible that application can consume such big RAM..but i dont think there is someone who build it yet..what is biggest RAM stick now? 1gb to 2gb right? i dont think anybody will make that application when there is no such RAM available yet..maybe a computer server if is possible..

I have a new pc and it is very fast, but then again I thought when I got a new one with windows 95 and 133mHZ ram it was real fast! I have had so many new pc's and each one is faster and faster. If they would stop making programs that ate up all our ram then these would be faster. Your pc is only as good as the programs allow.
