Do you believe in destiny/fate?

I belive that destiny is like a river and our free will is the paddle. We can choose the direction in which we move by paddling, even if it means paddling upstream. Because of free will, we can also refuse to paddle. But if we do so, we will be swept away by the tide of events. For this reason, I believe in what Gilbert K Chesterton once said," I do not believe in a fate that falls on men however they act;but I do believe in a fate that falls on them unless they act." You see, our actions are seeds that germinate into our destiny. Our destiny is not determined by the hardships we meet, but by our reactions or responses to them.

Most things I have I had to work for, but I think in many part of life were are destined to meet certain types of people,destined to have certain challenges come our way, destined to have a certain career. Fate is taking destiny and making it happen!

WELL I BELIEVE IN DESTINY, BUT I ALSO BELIEVE THAT ITS US WHO MADE THEM.

yes i do belive in destiny.... i also belive in karma like wht goes around comes around....as it is said wht happens it does happen for good...god has sme reason behind it.... its in our hand to bring put a postive or negative outcome... like if one door closes other opens u jst need to find it... wht say.....

I believe it is destined, but It doesn't mean that I don't need to do anything to achieve something. There are things that can be change if we try to change.

i don't believe in that. i believe that we make are own destiny. like in the movie the matrix, you always have a choice. we have the power to choose what to do and what not to do. i don't like the idea that my life has already been planned.
