does GOD ever sleep?

No God never sleeps. We sleep because we have human bodies that get tired and need the rest. God is a Spirit and is all powerful and He never sleeps. He is with us and watching us all the time.

That's not exactly the same thing. He rests much differently than we do. He is a Spirit. He created human beings.
Also, I believe He did that for our sake...to help us realize the importance of rest...esp on the Sabbath.

I know God doesn't sleep because the Bible says in Psalms 121:3 -4 'He will not let your foot slip- He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep'. I am thankful that I can call out to Him any time of the day and night. Also it is so comforting to know that He always knows what state we are in. Amen.

IF GOD in Psalms 121:3-4 is watchful and not sleeping,
then what does this means
"Then the Lord WAKED as one out of SLEEP" [Psalms 78:65]
what does this verse suggests?
which one is TRUE?

Of course He does not sleep. He is an all consuming fire in material terms. He is pure energy! He does rest though and he has designed it so that we also need to rest. We are never alone and yes He is watching us. Behooves us to be vigilant over our actions. Personally I am glad He is ever on the job. Too much for any one man or woman to do.

That is a good question. I'm not sure if the lord sleeps or not. Since he is our keeper, I would have to say he doesn't "sleep". He has watch over us at all times every day of our lives. It would be hard for him to sleep since we are all on different time zones and different countries.

I think just because god made us in his own image doesn't mean he is like us and needs sleep. Obviously he doesn't have a human body as he doesn't need to eat or breathe or have hugs etc.
How could somebody watch us all the time? Do you really think its possible?

Are you asking just for fun or you really want to know?Anyhow God is above our imagination He is a supernatural kind of thing which we cant understand, however in our Holly book we are told by Him that He never sleeps nor he eats 'cause he is not like us.We are just His creations so he doesn't have to be like us.
